Anna has been teaching yoga for over 10 years. She continues to discover her own potential through a daily yoga practice, trainings and workshops. Anna believes that the addition of yoga in her life awarded her with far greater flexibility, balance, strength, personal awareness and an inner surrender.

Anna received her Masters Degree in Counseling from Rivier University, an education which brings depth to her understanding of yoga philosophy. Her intensive study of Psychology combine with the knowledge of a strong yoga practice has provided a solid foundation for her commitment to classical yoga traditions. Anna’s passion is teaching a powerful, transformational yoga class. Honest work, at a level appropriate to each student, brings physical, emotional, and spiritual strength and flexibility. Anna is grateful and feels blessed everyday to have discover yoga and all it benefits. She feels privileged and excited to share her knowledge and solicitude with others. Her goal is to guide her students in the awakening of their own potential; to become strong in mind and body both on and off the mat.

Anna moved to the North Shore about 2 years ago after meeting her “Honey” and eventually moved in with him…. Everyday she feels fortunate for all the wonderful teachers in the North Shore area… She feels like a kid in a candy shop… spoiled by the choices! She lived in the Nashua NH area for years where she raise two amazing girls that are now in there 20s. Anna took her very 1st yoga class at NH Power Yoga in Merrimack NH and shortly after was on her way to becoming a teacher and soon after, was part of the fabulous team of teachers at NH Power Yoga. She fell in love with yoga not only for the muscular strength and flexibility… but because it brought a sense of inner strength and calm to her life. She studied to become a counselor to help others process and cope with their emotions, but soon discovered that yoga has a great power to heal and can reach a far larger population. She remembers when hers kids were younger, she was feeling stressed about work, house chores, studying and the messy rooms… she began to raise her voice and express her frustrations toward her girls, they responded, “Mom, you need yoga." They were sooooo right…Smart kids!

Anna is grateful for her beautiful girls (Kayleigh and Ella), for her amazing man who works hard and has open his house for her to live and his heart for her to love, and all the bright and beautiful people, animals, flowers, trees, oceans and lakes, the sky and the stars...She is inspired by her mother that passed away in 2015 from Cancer…. She dedicated her life to helping others, she was a strong woman who never let go of hope.

Anna loves to connect poses to create a fun, playful, at time challenging, vinyasa flow and believes in the power of positive energy and touch. She will often connect to her students through hands-on assists. Anna is thankful for the entire Solstice community for creating a haven that always makes her feel at ease...with friends and family when she steps through the door.

“The key to working through resistance is always a radical inner surrender, a calm determination, and a commitment to letting go.”      Baron Baptiste
