Khenpo Lama Migmar on the North Shore!

A note from Willa Worsfold who arranged for Lama Ligmar to visit Solstice Power Yoga this Saturday, January 7th, 1:00 - 4:00 pm

Can't say enough about what a treat this will be. And a rare opportunity to learn and discuss the 6 perfections (also referred to as the 6 difficulties!) as we all experience this practice called Our Life. I learned about them years ago with Lama Migmar, and it has made a world of difference in my life. And hopefully those around me ;)...

1. Generosity: to cultivate the attitude of generosity to self and others. Including how not to OVER give or be stingy.
2. Discipline: refraining from harm to self and others in word and deed.
3. Patience: the ability not to be perturbed by anything. HULLO?!?
4. Diligence: to find joy in what is virtuous, positive or wholesome. Love Life's Ups AND Downs.
5. Meditative concentration: not to be distracted. Stay on track!
6. Wisdom: we live in a world where there is so much information. How do we cultivate a clear path of learning? How do we grow wisdom thru experience?

And Remember - we have our whole lives to practice
